Promo video evaluation.
Evaluation:
Technical aspects of your promo video:
Throughout my whole video there is a video transition of a 'Cross fade' between each interview or video footage of the college.
Although i could of used different ranges of transitions, the others didn't seem to fit the need i wanted of my video of a fade in and fade out of each section and the only thing that done that without any fancy effects such as 'Cross in fade out' which didn't suit the video.
I also used audio transitions to fade in and out my audio which helped hugely since some of my garage band audio didn't include a fade out.
I also have a voice over of Nour saying 'South thames college, apply today' at the end of my video.

Framing, Shots and Quality of images:
The framing through one of my shots of the performing arts student who's describing her course, i had to crop the video since the m-audio got in shot.
The shot's were all taken on the tripod so there is no shaky or wonky shots.
Although the quality of the images and shots were clear on the camera and final cut, when uploaded on youtube they seem less in quality.
Was it what you proposed to do?
Not fully what i wanted to put in the video, however although i wanted shots of people saying inspiring words, i got shots at the end of the video which show happy expressions on their faces which gives a nice touch to the video.
Added the happy instrumental music i wanted to add.
Were your findings accurate?
I think the f ilming and the questions were very accurate to each other.
The sports student was filmed in the sports hall, Performing arts students were filmed in their performing arts t-shirts.
Was it fit for purpose?
Very, you can clearly see its a promotional video for college to make the college appear good in the eyes of the viewer and the video show's nice clear shots of sections of the college such as the dining hall, library and arts hall.
What did your target audience think?
When i showed my video to the audience, they said my video 'very good,' 'showed meaning of what south thames has to offer' 'The intro music was lively and fitted the video' 'Gives me an uplifting thought of south thames college?'
How does it appeal to your target audience?
From the feedback i have received, the audience seemed impressed and said i give a good message across to the viewers about the college.
The video i think appeals to the target audience by me showing the main parts of the college with a nice upbeat music in the background to make it seem comfortable.
Also appeals since i have interviews with a head of a subject, students, teachers and lastly someone from the support staff.
