Copyright law is designed to protect the rights of creators of artistic, literary, musical and dramatic works of all kinds from having their work exploited or misused. As such it protects their rights to charge for the work and time they have put in to their creations, and also their moral rights to control how their work is used by others.

The target audience for my Life Style magazine is women aged 30-40. This is typically the age where women start to worry more about diet and lifestyle as they are no longer in their 20's. The types of women who would buy my magazine would be professionals who work Monday to Friday, and watch sports and reality shows. The target audience would consume magazines such as :

Ethically the content in my magazine will be tasteful and not exploit women's bodies by wearing skimpy bikini's. The health and fitness plans will be from professional nutritionist and trainers so that the advice given will not harm the reader. My magazine aims to represent the real woman.
